Montreal , February 15, 1999 —ICAM Technologies Corporation is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement with Mazak's western US region to develop custom NC post-processors for all Mazak CNC machines. Mazak is the world’s largest manufacturer of CNC Lathes, Machining Centers and Agile Systems. The agreement marks the beginning of a relationship between two of the world’s leading developers of manufacturing technology.
Under the agreement, ICAM will use CAM-POST ® , the world’s best selling NC post-processor development tool, to develop custom NC post-processors for the full line of MAZAK CNC machines, beginning with the new V-815-5X milling machine. In return, MAZAK will demonstrate their latest CNC machines using ICAM software and recommend ICAM to clients who require state-of-the-art NC post-processing solutions. Both companies will also offer the inventory of custom NC post processors to existing customers.

Mazak plans to unveil the V-815-5X milling machine with an ICAM custom NC post-processor at the upcoming MAZAK Open House in Gardena, California.
Mazak is the US operating unit of Yamazaki Mazak Corp., based in Japan. Founded in 1968, Mazak USA has over 900 employees and annual revenues exceeding $500 million. It is one of six global Yamazaki Mazak manufacturing facilities in the world.
