Information / Technology Analyst
Location: Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec, Canada.
Job Description:
Reporting to the Director of R&D, the ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of the intricacies associated with managing and controlling sensitive corporate data and information. The candidate will be able to work autonomously and is expected to assume ownership of any given project and produce thorough and precise results within a high-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Internal software development using Visual Basic ( VB6, VB.NET, VBA )
- Internet / Web software support and development ( PHP, ASP.NET )
- Database design and management ( MS Access 2003/2005, MySQL, MS SQL )
- Information development, management and security
- Ensure accurate information statistics and analysis via ad-hoc reports
- Maintenance and support of CRM, Accounting and other corporate software
Requirements
- College or University degree in MIS / MIT
- Minimum of 3 years related work experience
- Expert programming and database skills to maintain and program Visual Basic / MS Access applications
- Strong knowledge of the World Wide Web and Web programming using PHP and/or ASP.NET

Application Engineer

Job Description:
The ICAM Application Engineers will be an integral part of ICAM's customer support network. Their insight and understanding of the changing needs in the NC manufacturing industry is essential for the development of ICAM's current and future products. The candidate's responsibilities include:
- Custom post-processors development, product demonstrations, pre-sales support and quality assurance verification
- Telephone and Internet support of ICAM's product suite, namely: CAM-POST, VIRTUAL MACHINE and CONTROL EMULATOR
- On-site consulting and training of ICAM's CAM-POST NC post-processing solution to its worldwide customer base
Requirements:
Essential Skills
- Experience with NC post-processor development - knowledge of CAM-POST is an asset
- Experience in multi-axes post-processings
- Programming Language Knowledge (C, C++, Fortran.)
- Excellent English communication skills
- Willingness to travel on a regular basis to provide on-site consulting services
- Ability to provide presentations and conduct training
- Valid driver’s license and passport
Non-Essential Skills
- CAM-POST QUEST development experience
- Experience in machine simulation software
- Knowledge of NC programming language and/or APT is an asset
- CAM NC experience - CATIA V5, UG-NX experience and/or knowledge of other major CAM systems
Sales Account Representative
Location:
Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec, Canada.
The Ideal Candidate:
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Sales Account Representative is responsible for developing new business opportunities and selling to new and existing accounts. The Sales Account Representative will be assigned a list of targeted accounts and is responsible for meeting quarterly and yearly goals. He or she will be required to travel periodically to participate at trade shows, visit clients, and negotiate contracts.
To succeed in this important and challenging position, the candidate must be a natural relationship builder, excellent negotiator, and have experience dealing with small and large corporate accounts. The candidate must also be organized, creative, independent, computer literate, and possess a strong telesales ability and personal initiative. The ideal candidate communicates effectively in English; knowledge of additional languages is considered an asset.
Requirements:
- University Degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Sales Account Representatives should have a minimum of 2 years experience in software sales, or related field
- Corporate sales experience, preferably in software sales and/or manufacturing industry

Software Engineer

Position Summary:
The Software Engineer will join our expanding development team and contribute to the success of ICAM products.
Job Description:
ICAM develops a range of CAD/CAM/CAE related software products that include NC post-processing, NC machine simulation and CNC control emulation. ICAM products are principally developed under the Microsoft Visual C++ development environment, but Fortran and C are also used where appropriate. ICAM products are also supported on a variety of UNIX systems in a development environment that includes GNU C++, Motif, Make and shell scripting. The software engineer is responsible for performing analysis, programming, and modifications of ICAM’s software products and applications. This includes the writing of functional specifications, design specifications and other documentation needed for development.
Requirement Specifications:
- 1 year of commercial software engineering experience, ideally in post-processing, robotics, simulation or other related CAD/CAM/CAE manufacturing applications
- Good practical C++ and object oriented experience
- Strong mathematical background
- Fortran, C, GNU C++, Motif, Make and shell scripting an asset
- Knowledge of Robotics, Inverse Kinematics, Inverse Dynamics an asset
- Knowledge of NC programming and/or CNC coding an asset
- Self-motivating and able to work in a team with low-level supervision
- Willing to travel occasionally
